OUR EVENTS
During term-time, we host regular speaker events, discussion groups and social functions.
Our events are open to anyone, regardless of their political persuasion or whether they study at Oxford’s universities. We welcome new faces: they keep our talks and discussions interesting.

You can keep in contact about our events by liking our Facebook page or subscribing to our mailing list.

We also strongly encourage you to share our events on Facebook and invite your friends!
SPEAKER EVENTS
We regularly invite world-renowned speakers to present their ideas in Oxford.

We draw speakers from a range of backgrounds, including academia, politics and thinktanks, on a broad range of topics including current affairs, political philosophy, economics and history.

Typically, our speaker events consist of a talk followed by a question-and-answer session, and are often followed by a trip to the pub.

DISCUSSION GROUPS
We host termly discussion groups in which we focus on a particular philosophy, news item or other issue.

Moderated by our President, these discussion groups can become lively and insightful debates. They often include complementary drinks and nibbles.
SOCIAL EVENTS
We host termly social events, offering our attendees an opportunity to get to know one another.

We typically have a Presidents' Drinks at the start or end of each term, and occasionally organise dinners and pub trips.

Our sister network, Oxford for Liberty, organises social events around the year for those in Oxford outside of term-time.
